Having been in business for 30+ years developing large custom engineered systems I had a certain expectation of how the process should work for building a custom home. We were very satisfied at each step in the process and we’re grateful for your insights as well as those of your sub contractors which we found invaluable as we worked through the myriad of decisions necessary to execute our design.

I believe your best contribution to the process was your ability to listen to our desires no matter how conflicting and then offer practical options that we could consider to meet our design intent without adversely affecting the cost of our project. In my experience, and those of my friends, the main complaint building a custom home is that for whatever reason the builder tries to steer the owner leading to unnecessary conflict and unmet expectations. You didn’t do this, rather you took the time to help us evaluate available options so that once a decision was made we knew that it was the best option for us without regret.

We were also more than impressed with your selection of subcontractors. All of the sub contractors were incredibly competent, friendly and helpful. The expectation with a custom home is that the workmanship would be extraordinary which was certainly the case with our home. More than that, the subs were particularly adept at interpreting our ideas and brought a new perspective into the process that we very much appreciated. Like you, all of the subs took the time to listen to our concerns and were very helpful providing ideas and when necessary letting us explore alternatives before committing.

We highly recommend Health-Wise Homes and already have done so to our friends. Building a custom home is a long and arduous process which in our case, thanks to you, yielded a beautifully crafted home that met all, and in many cases exceeded our expectations.

We moved to Pawley’s Island 6 years ago. Fortunately we purchased a house that was built by Stan Budzinski. When the house was inspected the inspector said that it was one of the best constructed houses that he has seen in a long time. When we sold the house yet another inspector said the same thing. So when we decided to build our dream house we found Stan and enlisted him for our project.

We had never built a house before and Stan was very helpful throughout the process. He helped us with our plans, showed us any changes we could make, and answered all our questions. He encouraged us to visit the site as much as possible and we made changes to the construction while the house was being built. The results were fantastic and we could have never been happier.
